What is Bonusbox?
Bonusbox ™ is a platform that allows merchants to create personalized deals for their customers. Deals are responsive to social metrics. An example is a deal that has an original price and additional levels of discounts, when deals are shared or purchased they become more affordable and early shoppers get credited the difference along with bonuses for use in future purchases. There are additional bonuses built into the system that reward loyal and frequent customers.

How much does it cost to join?
Membership is free. If you don't have an account, go ahead and sign up for a Bonusbox account.
What cities does Bonusbox serve?
Bonusbox is currently active in our launch cities of Indianapolis and Atlanta. Many more cities will be popping up as we add on new merchants throughout the US. If you know a merchant near you feel free to suggest them and we will see what we can do.
Yes. Security and privacy is our main priority. We use all the fancy stuff like SSL encryption and data centers with armed guards (ok maybe we don't have armed guards). We don't sell personal information to any third parties, not even merchants you buy deals from. For more details check out our privacy policy.
How does it work?
Merchants offer exclusive deals, available only to Bonusbox members. After you sign up up for Bonusbox you'll start receiving emails, no more than once a day, with the best deals in your area.
Bonusbox deals are accessible from places like the merchant's web site and Facebook page. If you choose to follow a merchant, their deals will display more prominently in your Bonusbox emails.
Once a deal goes live, you can purchase it quickly and easily by pressing the "Buy" button and going through the 1-page checkout.
As activity increases for a deal, the price of the deal goes down. Some things that can lower a deal's price are purchases, referrals, Facebook likes, tweets, and social media activity. A special Bonusbox formula determines how each activity influences the price. Merchants also have some control over how quickly the price goes down. What is the Bonus Meter?
The Bonus Meter displays on all deal pages and indicates a deal's progress. You can find a picture of the Bonus Meter on the how it works page.
The left side of the Bonus Meter starts with the initial deal price, also known as the "min-deal". The right side of the Bonus Meter ends with the "max-deal". Not all deals make it to the max-deal level, only the "hot" ones that generate significant activity.
What are Bonusbox Credits?
Bonusbox credits are a form of currency you can use toward Bonusbox purchases. You earn Bonusbox credits through various actions like purchases and referrals.
You automatically earn 1% of the final price Bonusbox credits for every deal you purchase. You can receive up to 5% back depending on when you purchase a deal.
What happens if the price goes down after I purchase a deal?
Great question! Let's say you buy a deal for $80 and the deal ends at $60. Not only will your price be reduced and reflected on your credit card as a $60 charge, but you'll also receive Bonusbox credits for being an early purchaser.
The early-bird bonus applies to all purchases made before the progress bar reaches 100%. Instead of receiving 1% in credits, you receive anywhere from 2% to 5% back, depending on how early
you purchase. You can always see the % of credits you will receive by looking in the rewards section of a deal.
It all comes down to this: purchase early to maximize your deal. You'll get the best price and pocket Bonusbox credits in the process.
Do I have to wait to use my deal?
The good news is no, you don't have to wait. You can use your deal immediately after purchasing it. Print your voucher and present it at the merchant's establishment to redeem your deal.
How can I earn more bonuses?
We've already covered purchase bonuses and early-bird bonuses. Here are a few more ways to earn bonuses.
Triggers: You can trigger achievements and unlocks in Bonusbox. Let's say you purchase 5 restaurant deals, you might unlock a special restaurant offer or get bonus credits from the next restaurant deal you purchase.
Secret: Last but not least are secret bonuses. We could tell you how these work but then they wouldn't be secret. All we can say is an announcement will be made each time a secret reward is "unlocked". The first person to unlock each secret receives a special bonus.
Can I gift a deal to someone else?
Yes you can. Press the "Buy for a Friend" button during checkout to purchase a deal as a gift.
Another option is to print your voucher and give it to someone else, just like a gift certificate.
Only the deal value is displayed on the voucher, not your discounted price.
Can I get a refund?
If you change your mind about your purchase, we accept returns for unused vouchers within five days after the purchase date. We also make sure you are protected and will ensure that you get a refund if a merchant goes out of business. We want you to be completely satisfied with your Bonusbox experience.
While refunds are not guaranteed, if you've had a bad experience we want to make things right somehow.
